NIZHNY NOVGOROD, October 15 (Itar-Tass) —— Seven people suffered in a road accident occurred on the federal highway M5 in the Penza Region at about 11.05 Moscow time, head of the press service of the Volga regional centre of the Ministry for Emergencies Oleg Zugeyev told ITAR-TASS.
The road accident occurred at the 648th kilometre of the highway in the Bessonovsky district of the Penza Region. During a collision of four cars: KAMAZ, VAZ, UAZ and BMW seven people got injuries, three of them are in grave condition. According to Zugeyev, six victims were brought to the Central Regional Hospital in the city of Zarechny.
According to the preliminary information, all the victims are pedestrians. There are no victims among the drivers and passengers of the cars-participants in the road accident.
