MOSCOW, October 14 (Itar-Tass) —— Militants have been blocked in a private house in Makhachkala, Dagestan, the National Counter Terrorism Committee told Itar-Tass.
“The counter terrorist operation started in the Kirovsky district of Makhachkala at 5:25 p.m. Moscow time with authorization of the head of the Dagestani operative staff of the National Counter Terrorism Committee,” he said.
“A group of militants was blocked in a private house on Akushinsky Avenue. Civilians are being evacuated. The militants are offered to lay down arms,” he said.
