Over 100 pieces of armaments stolen from Lvov Interior Ministry University

A criminal case was opened and a University employee was detained on suspicion of the arms theft

LVOV, October 14 (Itar-Tass) —— More than 100 pieces of combat and training weapons, including Makarov pistols and Kalashnikov submachine guns, were stolen from the Lvov Interior Ministry University, head of the University’s public relations department Alexei Panov.

He said the precise number of the stolen weapons was still unknown. An investigative commission led by the interior minister’s advisor Maj. Gen. Oleg Salo is at work.

A criminal case was opened and a University employee was detained on suspicion of the arms theft.
