GORKI, October 14 (Itar-Tass) —— Russian President Dmitry Medvedev considers it necessary to formulate Russia’s position on the trans-Caspian gas pipeline and to inform the country’s partners on it.
“This is the problems of the legal status and ecology, on which we should focus taking into account the current situation in the Caspian Sea region,” the president elaborated.
“I hope that our partners, which are pondering over various procedures of energy cooperation, will also adhere to the previous agreements,” Medvedev said.
“In any case the Russian Federation should formulate the country’s position and should inform our Caspian partners about it,” Medvedev underlined.
