Russia extradites suspected fraudster to Germany

Kossoi, as director of a Dusseldorf-based commercial firm, misappropriated more than 670,000 euros and fled Germany

MOSCOW, October 13 (Itar-Tass) — Russia extradited entrepreneur Konstantin Kossoi, accused of a 700,000-euro fraud, to Germany on Wednesday, the press service of Interpol Russia told Itar-Tass.

"Interpol Russia agents have extradited Konstantin Kossoi, accused of fraud. Kossoi, as director of a Dusseldorf-based commercial firm, misappropriated more than 670,000 euros and fled Germany," an Interpol official said.

Kossoi has been on the Interpol wanted list since January 2010. He was detained at the Vnukovo airport during registration for Moscow-Berlin flight in July. Kossoi has German citizenship, police said.
