MOSCOW, October 12 (Itar-Tass) —— The second part of a United Russia party congress, which will nominate a presidential candidate, will be held on about November 27, the secretary of the United Russia General Council presidium Sergei Neverov told a press briefing on Wednesday.
He recalled that the congress is to be held after the date of the presidential elections is announced. The Federation Council is to set the date for the presidential elections from November 25 to December 5. “I believe that we will take a decision to this effect urgently. We are planning the congress on November 27,” Neverov underlined.
