RF soccer team qualifies for Euro-'12 finals

Russia's national soccer team, trained by Dutch coach Dick Advocaat, has qualified for the 2012 European soccer championship finals, upon defeating Andorra, 6-0

MOSCOW, October 12 (Itar-Tass) — Russia's national soccer team, trained by Dutch coach Dick Advocaat, has qualified for the 2012 European soccer championship finals, upon defeating Andorra, 6-0 (4-0) in a match played at the Luzhniki stadium here on Tuesday night in the concluding, the 10th, series of the qualifying cycle.

Scorers for the Russian side were as follows: halfback Alan Dzagoyev ( in the 5th and 44th minutes), back Sergei Ignashevich (26th min), forward Roman Pavlyuchenko, halfback Denis Glushakov (59th min),and Diniyar Bilyaletdinov (in the 78th minute).

The Russian team with 23 points are first in GroupB. Andorran team, for its part, has concluded matches in the qualifying cycle without gaining a single point.
