BEIJING, October 11 (Itar-Tass) —— Prime Minister Vladimir Putin said he was perplexed with the sentence on ex-Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Timoshenko.
“I am not aware of the bill of indictment and its details but judging by media reports the guilty verdict is passed for signing gas agreements with Russia,” he told Russian reporters on Tuesday. “Timoshenko did not sign anything. The contracts were signed between economic agents, Gazprom and Neftegaz,” Putin said.
