Putin arrives in China for working visit

The sides are to sign a big package of interstate and corporative documents, the volume of which amounts to seven billion dollars

BEIJING, October 11 (Itar-Tass) – Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin has arrived in the Chinese capital for a two-day working visit.

On Tuesday, the Russian prime minister will hold talks with Chinese Prime Minister Weng Jiabao to discuss issues of the two countries’ trade and economic cooperation, as well as interaction within the framework of the United Nations and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.

The sides are to sign a big package of interstate and corporative documents, the volume of which amounts to seven billion dollars.

On the second day of the visit, October 12, Putin will meet with Chinese President Hu Jintao and Chairman of the Standing committee of the All-China Assembly of People’s Representatives Wu Bngo.
