MOSCOW, October 10 (Itar-Tass) - - The Central Bank of the Russian Federation on Monday lowered the euro's official exchange rate and decreased the U.S. dollar official exchange rate starting from Tuesday, October 11, the External and Public Relations Department of the Central Bank said in its regular report.
The official exchange rate of the euro against the Russian rouble was decreased by 11.89 kopecks to 43.1425 roubles for one euro, the report said.
The dollar's official exchange rate against the rouble was lowered too, by 19.09 kopeks and totalled 32.0096 roubles.
Proceeding from the CBR report, the dollar-euro basket, calculated under the official currency exchange rates for Tuesday, October 11, went down by 16.00 kopeks as compared with the indicator established for the weekend and for Monday, October 10, and amounted to 37.02 roubles.
