Russia’s grain harvest may amount to 95,000 t in 2011

MOSCOW, October 8 (Itar-Tass) —— Gathering of grain crops is going on, therefore the final figure on the volume of the harvest may be higher than the announced 90,000 tonnes, Russian First Deputy Prime Minister Viktor Zubkov on the TV channel “Rossiya.”

“The figures are, of course, preliminary. But they have been counted by experts and specialists several times already. Therefore, let’s consider that the final figure won’t be lower than this one (90,000 tonnes),” Zubkov said.

“I think that the figures of some 90-95 (million tonnes) may, most probably, become final,” the first deputy prime minister said according to the specified forecast.
