NALCHIK, October 8 (Itar-Tass) —— The murder of two employees of the observatory situated in the settlement of Neitrino of Kabardino-Balkaria’s Elbrus region is being investigated, ITAR-TASS learnt at the Investigation Department of the Investigation Committee for the republic on Saturday.
“At about 21.00 Moscow time on Friday, at least two unidentified persons entered the apartment where the Guliyes couple, employees of the observatory, were living and shot them,” a representative of the department said.
An investigation team is working at the site of the incident. It tries to establish possible connection of the incident with militants’ acts. Over the last 24 hours, two special operations were held in the administrative region of the region - - the city of Tyrnyauz, as a result of which four militants were destroyed.
