Govt submits amendments to federal budget-2011 to State Duma

It was proposed to raise the federal budget expenditures to the above-mentioned level from 11,022.477 billion roubles

MOSCOW, October 7 (Itar-Tass) —— The Russian government has submitted to the State Duma amendments to the federal budget of 2011. The document, which envisages the zero deficit of the budget, was posted to the e-database of the lower house of the Russian parliament.

In particular, the amendments offer to increase the projected budget revenues to 11,121.358 billion roubles (USD 1 = RUB 32.20) from the initial index of 10,303.412 billion roubles.

It was proposed to raise the federal budget expenditures to the above-mentioned level from 11,022.477 billion roubles.

Under the document, the forecasted GDP will be increased by 0.1 percent – to 53.332 trillion roubles from 53.274 trillion roubles.

In 2011, Russia’s GDP growth is expected to be at 4.1 percent and will be based on the sustainable increase of the intermediate, investment and consumer demand, as well as on the favourable external conditions.

In January-August 2011, the country’s industrial output index reached 5.4 percent. By the end of the year, the industrial production is projected to go up by 4.8 percent.

In 2011, the total number of jobless persons will make up 5.0 million, or 6.8 percent of the able-bodied population, authors of the amendments said.

The total number of the officially registered unemployed people in the country may reach 1.6 million by the yearend, they said.

The real disposable monetary incomes of the Russian population decreased by 0.7 percent in January-August 2011.

In the period under review, real wages of the Russian population went up by 2.3 percent, as compared to the first eight months of 2010.

At the same time, the forecast envisages that the real disposable monetary incomes will edge up by 1.5 percent in 2011, while the real wages will grow by 3.6 percent.
