MOSCOW, October 6 (Itar-Tass) — Talks on Russia’s accession to the World Trade Organisation are in their final phase and may be completed before the end of the year, Russian Minister for Economic Development Elvira Nabiullina said at the VTB Capital “Russia Calling” investment forum.
“There is a chance to finish them before the yearend,” the minister said.
“Russia’s WTO accession will become a positive signal for investors,” the minister stressed. According to her, Russia’s entry to the World Trade Organization is the sign that the legal framework meeting WTO demands has been created.
“This is important for investors who don’t work in Russia yet,” Nabiullina stressed. According to her, questions still exist as to the regime of industrial assembly of vehicles.
