Central Bank decreases US dollar, raises euro exchange rates against rouble

The official exchange rate of the euro against the Russian rouble was increased by 30.61 kopecks to reach 43.4632 roubles for one euro

MOSCOW, October 5 (Itar-Tass) - - The Central Bank of the Russian Federation on Wednesday increased the euro's and the U.S. dollar's official exchange rates as of Thursday, October 6, the External and Public Relations Department of the Central Bank said in its regular report.

The official exchange rate of the euro against the Russian rouble was increased by 30.61 kopecks to reach 43.4632 roubles for one euro, the report said.

The U.S. dollar's official exchange rate against rouble was lowered by 4.25 kopeks and totalled 32.6374 roubles for one U.S. dollar.

Proceeding from the CBR report, the dollar-euro basket, calculated under the official currency exchange rates for Thursday, October 6, went up as compared to the indicator for Wednesday, October 4, and amounted to 37.51 roubles.
