KHABAROVSK, October 4 (Itar-Tass) — Russia’s federal subsidies to compensate part of air fares for residents of the Far East to Central Russia will grow in 2012 to 3.5 billion roubles.
In 2011, the federal budget allocated 2.5 billion roubles for the programme, Chairwoman of the State Duma’s Committee on North and Far East Valentina Pivnenko told the 5th Far East economic forum in Khabarovsk on Tuesday.
The list of the territories, which will use the favourable condition, is growing: Norilsk and Taimyr are included there. Presently, the government is considering the list of those who would be able to use subsidies for air travel.
