LIPETSK, October 4 (Itar-Tass) — Best international projects in ecology and their implementation will be presented at the International ecology forum in Lipetsk on October 26-27.
The forum is called Formation of Ecology Security in Regions with Dynamically Developing Economy. The event will feature participants from Russia and from 15 countries including Great Britain, Germany, Italy, Poland, France, and South Korea.
Head of the regional administration Oleg Korolev said that “the forum should become a quality platform for discussing current issues of establishment of Russia’s ecology policy.”
The topics on the agenda of the forum will be especially interesting for the Lipetsk Region, which is both an agricultural and industrial area, he said. The participants “will discuss not only improvement of Russia’s legislation on processing of waste products in compliance with norms of international law, but also experience of using effective technologies in processing, utilisation and neutralisation of waste products.”
The forum will feature an EcoExpo exhibition, which will present modern equipment and technologies to process, neutralise and utilise waste products. Besides, the Lipetsk Region will share its experience in ecology education for pupils. The event will have an exchange of business contacts – designers of technologies and equipment will be able to have meetings with representatives of industries, who are interested in use of their technologies in industry and agriculture.
