IRKUTSK, October 2 (Itar-Tass) – A brawl between two groups of men in the town of Zima, Irkutsk region in Eastern Siberia, grew over into an exchange of fire Sunday, sources at the regional Investigations Committee told Itar-Tass.
“The two groups gathered on the compound of a woodworking plant and the information at our disposal suggests a conflict between them broke out as they were sorting out their relations,” a source said. “It grew over in an exchange of fire.”
The incident left four persons dead and another three wounded.
The survivors were admitted to hospital with gunshot wounds.
A group of operatives and investigators arrived at the site of the incident. It is led by a deputy chief of the regional Investigations Committee.
