KIEV, October 1 (Itar-Tass) —— It will be easier for Ukraine to build relations with Russia if Vladimir Putin is elected President of the Russian Federation, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Konstantin Grishchenko said at one the local TV channels.
“Now we know who will be the candidate for the presidency, who will determine Russia’s policy in the near future. Thus we’ll pursue our line on the basis of both personal relations and, of course, at the level of clearly defined long- and medium-term interests. I think that our president visited Moscow in time when it was announced who will be the presidential candidate,” Grishchenko said.
