MOSCOW, September 30 (Itar-Tass) —— The international search for ex-Moscow regional deputy prosecutor Alexander Ignatenko is grounded, a source at the Russian Investigation Committee told Itar-Tass.

“There is every legal ground for the search for Ignatenko. There are also sufficient legal grounds for his arrest and extradition,” the source said.

Ignatenko is accused of taking bribes from the owners of an illegal gaming business in the Moscow region. The Moscow Basmanny District Court authorized his arrest in absentia on July 13. The Investigation Committee brought the charges of fraud and bribe taking on June 28.
