NIZHNY NOVGOROD, September 30 (Itar-Tass) —— Five persons died and one was badly injured run down by a diesel locomotive in Russia’s Nizhny Novgorod region, a spokesman for the regional emergencies administration told Itar-Tass.
According to the spokesman, the accident took place at about 23:35 Moscow time on Thursday at the station of Linda. According to preliminary information, the six descended a passenger train and were run down by the locomotive while crossing the tracks.
An investigation is underway.
