Kudrin’s dismissal spells no trouble for businesses, budget - Shuvalov

“No news should be expected, there will be normal professional work,” he told the media in Novo-Ogaryovo

NOVO-OGARYOVO, September 29 (Itar-Tass) —— Russia’s First Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov, who after the dismissal of Alexei Kudrin from the position of Finance Minister was appointed to oversee the financial segment of the Cabinet, has promised that no changes in the ministry’s operation will follow.

“No news should be expected, there will be normal professional work,” he told the media in Novo-Ogaryovo.

With regard to changes to the budget Shuvalov said everything would remain unchanged.

"All major decisions have been made, the government has met in session, Putin has approved all the decisions, so don’t you expect any surprises," said the first deputy prime minister. "Now the work will proceed in a stable manner, the financial markets will be provided with liquidity and there will be no trouble. It is unpleasant that Kudrin is not with us, but no trouble for the market is due," said Shuvalov.
