VILNIUS, September 28 (Itar-Tass) — Legendary Lithuanian basketballer Arvidas Sabonis was hospitalized on Tuesday night with a tentaitve diagnosis of a heart attack, national radio reported.
In one of Kaunas sports halls, Sabonis was watching a match between a city team and local politicians. Then, among a company of friends he played basketball himself. After that, the 46-year-old sports veteran came to feel unwell and was urgently hospitalized.
Sabonis had completed his professional career of a basketball player in 2005.
