Russia, Uruguay sign visa-free travel accord

Uruguay has been added to the list of countries where Russians can travel visa-free

MOSCOW, September 27 (Itar-Tass) — Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and his Uruguayan counterpart Dr Louis Almagro signed an agreement dropping visa formalities in mutual trips by citizens of the two countries.

The ministers met and signed the intergovernmental agreement on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly. Uruguay has been added to the list of countries where Russians can travel visa-free. At present, the list comprises Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Venezuela, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia and Guyana.
