DIMITROVGRAD (Ulyanovsk region), September 26 (Itar-Tass) — Russian President Dmitry Medvedev has signed a decree on the resignation of Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Alexei Kudrin, president’s spokeswoman Natalia Timakova said.
In line with the existing practice, all appointments and dismissals in the Russian government are made at prime minister’s suggestion.
In reply to queries about the reason behind that decision, Timakova said the president had explained that clearly during a session of the commission for modernisation earlier on Monday.
