SUKHUM, September 26 (Itar-Tass) —— Speaker of the Russian Federation Council Valentina Matviyenko on Monday has turned over an invitation to Abkhazian President Alexander Ankvab from President Dmitry Medvedev who invited the new Abkhazian president to visit Moscow.
" I would like to express congratulations in connection with your inauguration from Russian President Dmitry Medvedev who is expecting you to pay a visit to Moscow, " Matvienko told Alexander Ankvab during talks held after the inauguration ceremony.
"The dates of the visit will be coordinated later," Matviyenko added.
