RME sends humanitarian aid to Abkhazia.

MOSCOW, September 26 (Itar-Tass) —— The Russian Ministry for Emergencies (RME) has sent humanitarian aid to Abkhazia.

As ITAR-TASS learnt at the RME Information Department, motorcade 179 of the Rescue Centre will deliver humanitarian cargoes to this republic.

A total of 116 tonnes of humanitarian cargoes, including tinned milk, fish and meat, blankets, rice, baby food and a mobile electric power station are to be delivered to Abkhazia.

Now the motorcade is staying in the Voronezh Region. “It is to arrive in Sukhum in the afternoon on September 28,” the RME spokesman said.
