RF deputy premier vows govt keeps on financing extensive repairs of housing

Dmitry Kozak said the government by mo means wants the people to carry the entire financial burden of capital repairs of their houses

MOSCOW, September 25 (Itar-Tass) —— Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Kozak said on Sunday the government by mo means wants the people to carry the entire financial burden of capital repairs of their houses.

“There is no such a decision that starting from 2016 we will shift all expenses related to extensive repairs onto the people,” he said at a media forum organized by the ruling United Russia party. “And no such decision will come.”

According to Kozak, people are currently paying not more than five percent for these ends, the rest comes from the state. “I think we shall follow this way further on,” he said, adding that the federal budget allocates big sums to repair housing.
