Fire in apartment house in downtown Moscow put out

The total area of the fire was 30 square metres

MOSCOW, September 24 (Itar-Tass) — A fire in an apartment house in the area of Stary Arbat (downtown Moscow) was put out; two people were rescued, Itar-Tass learnt from press service chief of the Moscow branch of the Ministry for Emergencies Yevgeny Bobylev.

According to the spokesman, the total area of the fire was 30 square metres. The seat of the fire was on the third floor of an old five-story building, located in the Medvezhy By-Street. A total of 14 fire trucks worked at the place of the incident.
