MOSCOW, September 23 (Itar-Tass) —— Russian Economic Development Minister Elvira Nabiullina does not expect a recurrence of the events 2008 amid the current unfavorable trend on exchange markets.
“There will be no recurrence of the events 2008. The causes are different,” she said.
The ministry is monitoring the markets, “and the fiscal authorities, the Finance Ministry and the Central Bank, are taking measures. Let us wait and see what happens to the world markets,” she said.
