MOSCOW, September 23 (Itar-Tass) — A well-known art designer Boris Krasnov is staying in grave condition at the Moscow hospital, a source in the Krasnov Design Company named after the foresaid designer told Itar-Tass on Friday.
“Boris Arkadyevich was hospitalized, he is staying in grave condition, but we do not know the details,” the source said, asking the media not to stir up panics. “We hope that he will recover,” the source said.
Boris Krasnov is 50 years old. He worked as an art designer with Alla Pugacheva, Valery Leontyev, Filipp Kirkorov, Iosif Kobzon, Lev Leshchenko, Laima Vaikule, Larisa Dolina, Irina Allegrova, Alexander Malinin, Valery Meladze, Alexander Rozenbaum and many other Russian entertainers.
He is a defendant in the extortion criminal case and was released on a bail of five million roubles.
The director of the department of foreign economic relations of the Ministry of Industry and Trade Sergei Shilov, who is accused of extortion, the deputy chief of the department of exhibitions in the Ministry of Industry and Trade Yuri Bogdanov, the deputy general director of the non-profit partnership that is the sport news agency of the Russian Olympic Committee Oleg Litoshenko and a lawyer of the Magma Company Ivan Dunayev are also the defendants in the criminal case.
