BARNAUL, September 23 (Itar-Tass) —— The police managed to find a hooligan, who had tried to laser-blind a crew of a passenger plane, which approached landing in Barnaul.

The hooligan is a teenager of 15, the local transport police reported on Friday. His trick, where people faced a danger of death will cost his parents a small fine of not more than 500 roubles.

On September 22, he tried to blind the pilot of an A-320 plane, which belongs to the Aeroflot Company. The plane serviced the route from Moscow to Barnaul and carried 120 passengers and eight members of the crew. Pilots managed to land the plane successfully.

The teenager told the police that he had been home alone and pointed the laser ray to the plane which approached landing. He did not mean to blind the pilot, the only thing he did was to point the ray to the blinking lights of the plane, the boy said.

The police fined an administrative protocol which claims that the boy’s mother failed to carry out the obligations in upbringing. The punishment for this violation of the law is between 100 and 500 roubles.

The laser pointer was confiscated.
