Two injured in major road accident die at hospital in Moscow

MOSCOW, September 23 (Itar-Tass) —— Two people injured in a major road accident on the Kashirskoye Highway in Moscow died at the hospital.

A 38-year-old drunken unemployed man lost control of a Nissan car at 4.00 p.m. Moscow time on Thursday on the Kashirskoye Highway, skidded on the walkway and rammed into people, a source in the law enforcement agencies told Itar-Tass on Friday.

The road accident killed nine people. Seven people were hospitalized, two of them died at the hospital. Another two injured people received medical aid on the spot.

The culprit of the road accident was detained.
