YALTA, September 16 (Itar-Tass) —— Annual meeting called Ukraine and the World: Common Challenges, Common Future opens in Yalta’s Livadia Palace on Friday.
Over 200 representatives of political, business and civil circles of about 20 countries will discuss basic global challenges and their influence on Europe and Ukraine. The key topics of discussions will be devoted to relations between Ukraine and the European Union and to Ukraine’s future in the modern world.
“The forum will discuss Russia’s role in global processes and international relations,” the event’s organisers said. They are members of the Yalta European Strategy international independent organisation, which was founded in 2—4 by Ukrainian businessman and social leader Viktor Pinchuk.
On Friday, the forum will feature presidents of Ukraine and Israel Viktor Yanukovich and Shimon Peres.
