MOSCOW, September 15 (Itar-Tass) —— Moscow will uphold its positions in the gas dispute with Ukraine in any court instance, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman Alexander Lukashevich said on Thursday.
“Russian President Dmitry Medvedev explained the situation in much detail and in the simplest terms in his interview with the Euronews TV channel,” Lukashevich recalled. “I would stress once again, the choice of a court settlement, if the Ukrainian side opts for such, is not our choice.”
“As president’s press secretary Natalia Timakova has already said we will be ready to defend our positions in any court,” the Russian diplomat stressed.
