Seven rafters reported missing in Primorye

A seven-member group of the Vladivostok-based search-and- rescue party is taking part in the search for the missing tourists

VLADIVOSTOK, September 14 (Itar-Tass) — A search fpr seven missing tourists has been launched in Pozharsky District of Primorsky (maritime) Territory on Wednesday.

An official in the press service of the district center of the Russian Ministry for Emergencies has told Itar-Tass that the tourist group set out on a trip to the river Bikin for rafting on August 19 and was to communicate their whereabouts on Sept 5-6. However, none of them returned up to now, and there was no word about their whereabouts.
