Minsk wants further contacts with EU

Despite the fact that such contacts may not always be easy and the dialogue is bitter, they are further maintained and it is right – Foreign Minister

MINSK, September 12 (Itar-Tass) —— Official Minsk wants to continue contacts with the European Union, despite bitter polemics, Belarusian Foreign Minister Sergei Martynov said on Monday.

“Belarus has always and will further favour contacts and dialogue with Europe because we are confident that no truth can be found and no results can be reached on a path of mutual silence and mutual disregard,” he told Itar-Tass. “Despite the fact that such contacts may not always be easy and the dialogue is bitter, they are further maintained and it is right.”
