MOSCOW, September 9 (Itar-Tass) —— The Russian draft resolution on Syria may help UN Security Council members reach accord, head of the Syrian opposition delegation, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Syrian Conference for Change Ammar Kurabi told a Friday press conference in Moscow.

“Today’s meeting with Federation Council International Affairs Committee Chairman Mikhail Margelov was useful and frank,” he said. “We discussed the Russian stance at the UN Security Council and the Russian draft resolution, which was bound to bring the positions closer together. We also discussed a draft roadmap for Syria, which aimed to begin genuine democratic transformations.”
