MOSCOW, September 8 (Itar-Tass) —— The inauguration of the Bushehr nuclear power plant is scheduled for September 12, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman Alexander Lukashevich said on Thursday.
"The opening ceremony is scheduled for September 12,” the diplomat said. “It will be attended by Energy Minister Sergei Shmatko and head of Rosatom Sergei Kiriyenko. The Iranian side will be represented by the energy minister and head of the Atomic Energy Organization."
"On the eve of the ceremony, on September 11 Tehran will host the 9th meeting of the permanent Russian-Iranian intergovernmental commission on trading and economic cooperation,” said Lukashevich. “Its co-chairs are Shmatko and Salehi, Iran's Foreign Minister."
