TUNOSHNA, Yaroslavl Region, September 8 (Itar-Tass) — Russian President Dmitry Medvedev intends to personally oversee the investigation into the causes of the Yak-42 crash, which occurred near Yaroslavl.
"I have given directions to conduct a complete investigation. The specially formed commission will take it up," he told a meeting at the operational headquarters.
All the conclusions must be open and made public, Medvedev stressed.
"The results must be reported to me personally, and I will oversee them," he said.
It is a serious tragedy, a serious accident. Everything must be public and open, he repeated.
