YAROSLAVL, September 7 (Itar-Tass) —— The Russian Ministry of Economic Development has forecasted zero inflation in September 2011.

“I think that the indicator will be at about zero level or slightly more,” Deputy Minister of Economic Development Andrei Klepach told reporters on Wednesday on the sidelines of the International Political Forum in Yaroslavl.

In his words, the ministry keeps its forecast for 2011 at the level of 6.5 percent (as compared to December 2010).

While commenting on Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin’s recent forecast that the country’s inflation rate will be at the initially-projected level of eight percent, Klepach said that such indicators as “annual average inflation rate” may be at about eight percent.
