Yak-42 had been in order before flight - Rosaviatsiya

The plane’s engines were operational and their resource cycle had not expired yet.

MOSCOW, September 7 (Itar-Tass) —— The Yak-42 plane that crashed near Yaroslavl Wednesday afternoon had been in order before the flight, the federal aviation agency Rosaviatsiya told Itar-Tass.

“Before the flight the plane underwent prompt examination, all the main systems were checked, and no flaws were identified,” the agency’s official said. “The plane’s engines were operational and their resource cycle had not expired yet.”
