MOSCOW, September 6 (Itar-Tass) —— Moscow’s unemployment rate may stand at about 0.7-0.8 percent of the able-bodied population by the end of the current year, Chairperson of the City’s Department of Economic Policy and Development Marina Ogloblina said during a Tuesday meeting of the Moscow government.
In her words, the above-mentioned indicator is expected to be 20 percent less than in 2010.
“This year’s dynamics makes it possible to forecast trade turnover at 8.2 percent versus 2008, while the city’s unemployment rate at 0.7-0.8 percent of the able-bodied population, which is 20 percent less than in 2009-2010,” she said.
