Russia, Denmark sign a number of bilateral agreements

Russia’s EcoInvest Co and Danish FLSmidt signed a contract for deliveries of equipment for a new cement production line

MOSCOW, September 6 (Itar-Tass) —— A number of bilateral Russian-Danish agreements were signed on Tuesday after a meeting between Russian President Dmitry Medvedev and visiting Queen Margrethe II of Denmark.

A working program for the implementation of the Declaration of Partnership for Modernization in 2011-2012 was signed in the presence of the two heads of state. The document was signed by Russian Minister of Transport Igor Levitin, who is a co-chairman of the intergovernmental council for economic cooperation, and by Danish Foreign Ministry's Permanent Secretary of State Claus Grube, who is a Danish co-chairman of the council.

Russian Minister of Agriculture Elena Skrynnik and Denmark's export ambassador to Russia Mariann Fischer Boel signed a joint statement on the establishment of a Russian-Danish agro-business club.

Vice President and city manager of the Skolkovo research hub Viktor Maslakov and Lars Ostenfeld Riemann, Service Area Director, Buildings & Design, Ramboll Group signed a framework agreement on design and development services.

And, CEOs of Russia’s EMAliance and Danish Burmeister and Wain Energy A/S signed a memorandum of understanding.
