TOKYO, September 2 (Itar-Tass) —— Jun Azumi, the ruling Democratic Party of Japan's former Diet affairs chief, is set to become finance minister under the new Cabinet of Prime Minister-elect Yoshihiko Noda, Kyodo News reported on Friday quoting DPJ sources.

It was earlier reported that Katsuya Okada rejected the post of the finance minister.

Kyodo said Koichiro Gemba, national strategy minister, is expected to take the post of foreign minister.
