MAKHACHKALA, August 28 (Itar-Tass) —— Federal Security Service officers unarmed a bomb equivalent to two kilograms of TNT in the Derbent district of Dagestan on Sunday, head of the service’s Dagestani department Andrei Konin said.
He said two militants seized in a police operation in Derbent on Saturday told them about the bomb.
The bomb was planted on the side of the Caucasus federal route, near a former traffic police post in the village of Kular. The post is closed, but police patrols start their daily work from there, another source said.
