MOSCOW, August 27 (Itar-Tass) —— Flight from Moscow to New York planned for August 28 are cancelled due to Hurricane Irene.
Flights SU313/314 and SU315/316 to New York and back are cancelled on August 28, an Aeroflot source told Itar-Tass. Tickets for the cancelled flights may be returned without fine sanctions to the places where they were bought or any Aeroflot ticket office, the company representative explained.
Passengers may also shift the travel to a later date till August 31.
Aeroflot recommends those who are in New York not to arrive at the airport until the morning of August 29. "Taking into consideration the changes in the schedule and the information about the public transport service halt in New York from 12:00 Moscow time on August 27 till the morning of August 29, we ask passengers not to come to the airport," the source said.
The earlier planned Delta Air Lines flight from Moscow to New York is also cancelled.
