MOSCOW, August 26 (Itar-Tass) — The chief of the Tver regional department of the Federal Security Service shot himself to death from a service-issue weapon in his office, a law enforcer from the Central Federal District told Itar-Tass.
“An inquiry will be held to reveal the causes of the suicide,” he said.
Meanwhile, the FSB Tver department made no comment on the incident.
The media said that Konstantin Morev headed the Federal Security Service’s department in Yakutia before moving to Tver.
