NEW YORK, March 27. /TASS/. According to initial reports, at least six people are presumed to have been killed by the recent bridge collapse in Baltimore, US, NBC News reported.

Jeffrey Pritzker, executive vice president of the Brawner Builders construction company, was quoted as saying that six construction workers are presumed dead. One person survived, he added.

The Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore collapsed on March 25 after it was hit by the Dali freighter travelling under the flag of Singapore. Video footage of the collapse disseminated on social media. After the impact, the bridge spans started to crumble, and the several cars that were on them fell into the water. Maryland Governor Wes Moore declared a state of emergency over the incident.
