Public Monitoring Commission debunks reports of death of Crocus City Hall attacker

"I can only say that they are detained in different facilities," Alexey Melnikov told

MOSCOW, March 27. /TASS/. The Russian Public Monitoring Commission Secretary Alexey Melnikov debunked the reports of death of one suspected Crocus City Hall attacker.

"We receive many phone calls about the suspected perpetrators of the March 22, 2024 terror attack. Currently, the reports of their location or death of any detainee are false. I can only say that they are detained in different facilities," he told TASS.

Previously, reports emerged on social media that two suspected Crocus City Hall attackers allegedly died in detention facilities.

"We will visit the people suspected of involvement in this terror attack as planned, and we will act, as we always do, in according with the PMC ethics code, as human rights activists," Melnikov concluded.
